AMO 1:2 און ער האָט געזאָגט: ה׳ װעט ברילן פֿון צִיוֹן, און פֿון ירושָלַיִם װעט ער אַרױסלאָזן זײַן קֹול, און די פֿיטערפּלעצער פֿון די פּאַסטוכער װעלן טרױערן, און דער שפּיץ כַּרמֶל װעט פֿאַרטריקנט װערן. edit | AMO 1:2 un er hot gezogt: Hashem vet brilen fun Tsiyon, un fun Yerusholayim vet er aroislozen zain kol, un di fiterpletser fun di pastucher velen troieren, un der shpits Carmel vet fartriknt veren. | AMO 1:2 And he said, Hashem roars from Tziyon, and utters His voice from Yerushalayim; and the pastures of the ro'im (shepherds) mourn, and the summit of Mt Carmel withers. |

AMO 1:14 און איך װעל אָנצינדן אַ פֿײַער אױף דער מױער פֿון רַבָה, און עס װעט פֿאַרצערן אירע פּאַלאַצן, מיט שאַלונג אין טאָג פֿון מלחמה, מיט שטורעם אין טאָג פֿון געװיטער. edit | AMO 1:14 un ich vel ontsinden a faier oif der moier fun Rabbah, un es vet fartseren ire palatsen, mit shalung in tog fun milchome, mit shturem in tog fun geviter. | AMO 1:14 But I will kindle an eish in the chomah (wall) of Rabbah, and it shall devour the fortresses thereof, with war cries in the yom milchamah, with a tempest in the yom sufah (day of the storm) ; |

AMO 2:2 און איך װעל שיקן אַ פֿײַער אױף מוֹאָבֿ, און עס װעט פֿאַרצערן די פּאַלאַצן פֿון קריוֹת, און שטאַרבן מיט געטומל װעט מוֹאָבֿ, מיט שאַלונג און אַ קֹול פֿון שוֹפֿר. edit | AMO 2:2 un ich vel shiken a faier oif Moav, un es vet fartseren di palatsen fun Keriyot, un shtarben mit getuml vet Moav, mit shalung un a kol fun shofar. | AMO 2:2 But I will send an eish upon Moav, and it shall devour the fortresses of Keriyot; and Moav shall die with tumult, with war cries, and with the blast of the shofar; |
AMO 2:3 און איך װעל פֿאַרשנײַדן {כרת} אַ ריכטער פֿון איר מיט, און אַלע אירע האַרן װעל איך הרגען מיט אים, זאָגט ה׳. edit | AMO 2:3 un ich vel farshnaiden a richter fun ir mit, un ale ire haren vel ich hergen mit im, zogt Hashem. | AMO 2:3 And I will cut off the shofet (judge) from the midst thereof, and will slay all the sarim (princes) thereof with him, saith Hashem . |

AMO 2:12 אָבער איר האָט געמאַכט טרינקען די נזירים װײַן, און די נבֿיאים האָט איר באַפֿױלן אַזױ צו זאָגן: איר זאָלט נישט נבֿיאות זאָגן. edit | AMO 2:12 ober ir hot gemacht trinken di nezirim vain, un di neviim hot ir bafoilen azoi tsu zogen: ir zolt nisht neviut zogen. | AMO 2:12 But ye gave the Nezirim yayin to drink; and commanded the nevi'im, saying, Prophesy not. |

AMO 5:13 דערום שװײַגט דער פֿאַרשטאַנדיקער אין אַזאַ צײַט, װאָרום אַ בײזע צײַט איז דאָס. edit | AMO 5:13 derum shvaigt der forshtandiker in aza tsait, vorem a beize tsait iz dos. | AMO 5:13 Therefore the maskil (prudent) shall keep silence in such times; for it is an evil time. |
