LET'S COME TO TERMS WITH THE FAITH OF THE FIRST CENTURY

First let's get something clear about erroneous notions of Paul and his founding a new religion, which he didn't. True, the halakhah of his Judaism switched from the Pharisaic oral law to the Ruach Hakodesh, but his religion was still one of the Judaisms of the time, not a new non-Judaism Gentile religion.

When Boaz told Ruth about her going behind the barley harvest reapers to gather grain, he solemnly warned her not to go to another field. STAY IN THE FIELD OF THE GOEL OF JUDAH is the command (Ruth 2:8). At that time there had been a famine in the land. Today there is a famine of hearing the Word of G-d (Amos 8:11-12). Why? Because many shuls do not recognize that the command of Boaz is the command of Hashem: STAY IN THE FIELD OF THE GOEL OF JUDAH. Today there is a famine of hearing the Word of G-d because many shuls have gone into another field. Boaz warned specifically: DO NOT GO INTO ANOTHER FIELD. This means, do not leave the field of the Goel of Judah, the field of lifting up the Oisleizer of Goeleinu, Rebbe Melech HaMoshiach. This is where every "Ruth" is safe, covered by the robe of the Goel of Judah (Ruth 3:9), shielded under the protective tzel Shaddai (shadow of the AlmightyPs 91) of Hashem.

 

Today there are shuls that know little about Kiruv efforts for Rebbe Melech HaMoshiach. They have disobeyed Boaz and gone into another field. Listen, if you give a thirsty person a cup of water, but you do not give it in the Name of Rebbe Melech HaMoshiach, the thirsty will soon thirst again, and where will be your mitzvah? But on Hoshana Rabbah, Rebbe Melech HaMoshiach cried out, saying, If anyone thirst let him come to me and drink.The one with emunah in me, as the Kitvei Hakodesh said, "Out of the midst of him, rivers of MAYIM CHAYYIM will flow." (Yn 7:37-38).

 

Ruth's mother-in-law Naomi had a problem called "emptiness." But an end to the famine only satisfied part of the problem. She had to come to Beit-Lechem if she would ever hope to fill her SPIRITUAL emptiness. And so will you. Listen, Moshiach can only be found at Beit-Lechem (Michoh 5:2[5:1]). Any "Rebbe Melech HaMoshiach" you want to nominate who was not born there is not the Moshiach. Any empty "Naomi" who finds someone else will be empty again. Such a one has gone into another field and has not stayed in the field of the Goel of Judah. Such a one has stumbled from the ancient paths (Jer 18:15) and removed the ancient landmark (Prov 22:28). Such a one has missed the Oisleizer of Goeleinu, Rebbe Melech HaMoshiach. Such a one is doomed and has missed the hope of surviving from perishing as surely as would have been Ruth's father-in-law Elimelech's fate if Ruth had gone to another field, if Ruth had not stayed in the field of the Goel of Judah.

 

Do you know the joyous sound of harvest? Have you ever heard the singing of glad tidings in a homeless shelter? Have you ever known the heavenly atmosphere of a home where neighbors enjoy divine refreshment in a home Torah study? Have you ever seen the Shechinah glory cloud at an all-night prayer meeting? Have you ever accompanied the Ruach Hakodesh on a house call doing Kiruv outreach efforts for Rebbe Melech HaMoshiach? Or at a street meeting with open-air preaching? If not, you are in the wrong field.

 

Sunday, August 28, 2005, is a day of open air

preaching in "Little Odessa," the Jewish Russian

immigrant neighborhood in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn. In some ways it is like open air

preaching in Speakers Corner, Hyde Park, London. However, many Anti-Moshiach activists

are expected, so a large placard is being prepared, one with a sermon that no group can shout down and drown out which says,

 

"WHO WILL BE MORE SHMAD AT MOSHIACH'S

BET DIN THAN THE ANTI-MOSHIACH ACTIVIST? STOP SHOOTING YOURSELF IN

THE FOOT, FIGHTING YOUR SOUL'S ONLY

O JONAH, DON'T GET CHASTISED BY HASHEM'S WHALE! DON'T MAKE THE GOYIM DO YOUR JOB. PREACH WHAT IT SAYS, "THE CHASTISEMENT THAT BROUGHT US PEACE WITH HASHEM WAS UPON MOSHIACH! (YESHAYAHU 53:5)!" WILL YOU FIGHT HASHEM'S WORD IN THE NAME OF HASHEM?

 

The reason we pray in the Spirit before and during the times that we go into the highways

and byways to compel (by means of the "foolishness" of preaching) the lost to turn back from destruction and return to Moshiach's shul

is because an open air encounter like this requires power, and the causal force of the Ac 10:46 preposition gar ("gar" in the original language) means this: the reason the Messianic Jews concluded that the non-Jews in the house of Cornelius had received the same empowerment from heaven that they themselves had received at Shavuos was because they heard them speaking in leshonot chadashot, a sign from heaven.

 

We know a Holy G-d, the Holy One of Israel

and we know He has holy ways (Ps 77:13[14])

and He has chosen a Holy People (Deut 7:6)

and has a Holy Name (Lev.22:2) and calls

us to a Holy Life (Rom 12:1). Therefore, because we know the terror of a Holy G-d, we persuade men (2C 5:11).

Cry out to Hashem to empower you and deliver you and your shul or find another shul where the orthodox Torah is believed and faithfully taught. It is time to go back with Ruth and toil in Hashem's field and stay with Hashem's reapers of the field of the Goel of Judah.
